The room had everything I needed like a coffee maker, a cozy seating area, and a convenient writing table. It was located right in the middle of everything, including the airport 🛫. The brunch spot Liberty's was just a stone's throw away, making it easy for me to grab a bite to eat.

This venue boasts a beautiful and spotless setting with a fantastic location near the heart of town.

The hotel had a favourable location minutes away from Simon Estes Amphitheater. Moreover, it was next to many restaurants of all types and the river and restaurants.

The location was superb with the Farmer's market and a market just a short walk away, and conveniently situated within a 15-minute drive from the airport.

We liked the space of the room and furnishings especially the extra two sinks. Pillows were comfortable.

The shuttle never picked us up on the return trip From Iowa Events Center. We called at 10:32 pm to request pick up from National Square Dance Convention. I called again at 10:46 pm to confirm they were on their way. Holiday Inn and Marriott shuttle came twice still No shuttle. I called again at 10:52 pm and desk confirmed the shuttle was coming over and had a delivery at Mariott first. Called at 11 pm asking about shuttle which we hadn't seen and we'd been out side for a half hour and was told they were on their way. 11:10 pm called and desk told us they got off five minutes ago.

The hotel has marvelous views. They offer complimentary and extensive breakfasts. The service is good. The staff is especially helpful and very friendly. Don't miss their shuttle to-and-from the airport.

The cost seemed a little high, however there is no other property with these amenities downtown.

The bed was very comfy and the room was well-appointed. The staff was genuinely helpful and assisted us greatly. The great and stunning location was an easy walk to Des Moines Civic Center. The hotel itself was in a neat area, near the theatre and breweries.

Updated room and wonderful views, very comfy bed. Location short walk to a platform, about six inches higher than the rest of the bathroom and a very nice restaurant about four blocks away. Plenty of food options just a short stroll away from the venue. Good service from the staff. Free parking, shuttle to-and-from the airport.

Great experience during my 3-night stay, definitely coming back here next time! The room I had was spacious and newly renovated, offering a fantastic view 😊.

The room was nice and breakfast was great.

We were very disappointed that there was an extra charge for internet access. I can understand an upcharge for valet parking,etc., but everyone travels with one or two devices requiring wifi, and at that cost for a room, it should be provided.

This place is my top pick in town. Everything is spotless, the staff goes above and beyond, and the food here is simply amazing 🌟. Plus, they have a nice pool, convenient street parking, and don't forget about the free wifi!

Awesome location, great hotel amenities, comfortable bed and pillows, soft towels, great welcome reception with free drinks., nice suite, peaceful water in the morning.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The hotel staff was pleasant. Cook to order lady at breakfast made some of the best omelets I have ever had and was amazingly efficient. Front desk staff was nice.

First, we had our 3 kids ages 9, 11, and 12 in room 601, a double suite to accommodate 5. The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. A bottle of $1 water at the store they had available for $4. We paid the additional $20 cash for underground Valet and found our vehicle in the outside lot across the street overnight. Our booking info said free WiFi, this was not provided, an additional charge of $10 is needed to access. We used one credit card to book, one to pay on arrival. Our bill delivered to our room was considerably less than our card we used to pay was charged. 5 days later we discovered the card we used to book was also charged nearly $60 in pre-authorizations to make our stay nearly $100 more than the guaranteed price given, which has not been returned after 4 business days. Housekeeping was beating on the door to clean the room at 8:30 am when our checkout time was 11:00. The shower in the bathroom had missing and discolored caulking around the tub and had a musty odor.
